Gearing up for the New Wilmington Business Expo

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.- Businesses in the northeast part of Lawrence County are gearing up for the 8th Annual New Wilmington Area Business Expo. The Expo takes place 10 - 4 on Saturday, March 13, at the Westminster College Field House. That's coincides with the first day of Westminster's Spring Break. Organizers will register local businesses in the next few weeks preparing for the day long showcase.
Organizers with the New Wilmington Area Chamber of Commerce use the annual event to spotlight local businesses and enterprises. The Expo often features nearly 100 vendors and draws in hundreds of visitors. In 2008, nearly 1,200 people attended the Expo. It also runs in conjunction with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast also held on campus. Breakfast also held on campus.
