NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.- The Westminster Student Health Center is offering H1N1 vaccine to all members of the college community next week. Earlier in the flu season, vaccine on campus and across Pennsylvania was restricted to high risk populations, including college students under the age of 24. However, now supply of vaccine allows state health officials to approve it's distribution to anyone interested in receiving it.

According to Westminster Student Health Center Director Judith Duda, the college will offer H1N1 flu shots on Wednesday, February 1, 0to all members of the Westminster Community. Duda says no appointment is necessary as she will have additional nurses on staff on February 10 from Noon until 2 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are invited to get the vaccine.

Last semester, Westminster saw an outbreak of the swine flu when several students came down with the virus. While all recovered in a matter of days, Duda stresses the virus will continue to circulate in the next few months.
