Training & dedication live up to the Titan swim team legacy

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Westmisnter College's swimming and diving teams are made up of some of the toughest men and women on campus. These Division 3 NCAA student athletes work hard to live up to a legacy of winning.

Meet Coach Klamut, the man working hard to keep Westminster ahead of the curve when it comes to swimming and diving.

Rob Klamut has over 20 years of success as one of the top small-college swimming coaches in the nation. Now, in his third decade as coach at Westminster College, Klamut and his program are thriving more than ever.
Entering his 25th year at Westminster in the 2009-10 season, Klamut owns a 176-66-2 (.725) career record as the Titan men's coach and as the first-ever women's team head coach at Westminster he owns a 155-68 (.695) record since 1987. In 2007, Klamut registered his 300th win as a college coach as his combined men's and women's record is 331-134-2 (.711).
Both the Titan men's and women's teams won the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championship in 2007, giving both teams their fourth league team titles in five years, including the men with three straight and the women with two consecutive crowns.
In 2008-09, a year in which the Titan men and women each placed second in the PAC and the women placed 20th at the NCAA Division III Championships, Klamut earned PAC Women's Swimming Coach of the Year honors, marking the seventh time he has either earned men's or women's PAC coach of year honors since the Titans joined the league in 2003.
